Noorderlicht photo festival
The Noorderlicht photo festival in Groningen, called “Metropolis“, is about to start!
The festival will open it’s doors september 10 until october 9th.
And of course (seeing as it is her hometown) work of Niene.nu will also present.
Finally the brand new project “Next Stop” will be shown in it’s final stage.
Saskia Jeulink and Niene.nu teamed up as ‘De Figuren’ and made this series about no less than ‘the meaning of life’.
You can see “Next stop” as part of the sattellite porgramme of Noorderlicht in de Globe, right next to the A-kerk, the main location of the Noorderlicht.
So come on over to eeterie De Globe of Humanitas, have a cheap , healthy and nice meal + support the workers of the restaurant to get back into society while ponderering away about the meaning of life.

DE WISCH & NIENE.NU AT FESTIVAL BUITENKANS
Friday 13th and saturday 14th of may 2011, De Wisch (with niene.nu) is performing at the eighth edition of Festival Buitenkans in Enschede, the Netherlands, and they’re not gonna kill the architect! (If you check they’re site you’ll understand…)
Friday afternoon they’ll perform in cafe ‘Het Bolwerk’ and saturday afternoon in the townhall.

It’s springtime and so a good reason and time for a new website! Although some parts are stil ‘under construction’, like the shop, I am very pleased with this site. Hope you like it as much as I do.

LENTESALON EXHIBITION @ PHOTOGALLERY LICHTZONE IN GRONINGEN
From the 1st of april 2011 until may the 1st the new mash ups series “Whodunnit” will be shown in a group exhibition at the Lichtzone Gallery in Groningen, the Netherlands. The first time to see the series live in Groningen!
